Actor, Singer, Dancer, Director, and Makeup and Wig Designer

I’m so excited to meet you!

Cheesin’ through life since 2001!

Corinne Krasner (she/her) is a 22 year-old actor, singer, and dancer based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She is a recent graduate with honors from James Madison University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre with minors in Entrepreneurship and Theatre. An artist as well as a director and makeup designer, she’s working to create inclusive and welcoming spaces for everybody, and strives to leave each space a little better than when she found it. You can usually find her reading a fantasy novel, watching the latest Marvel release or making a cake for any occasion :)

I’m an advocate for following your passion, wherever it may lead you

“Jack of all trades, master of none;” maybe you’ve heard of the quote. However, many people don’t realize that the full quote is “Jack of all trades, master of none, is oftentimes better than master of one.” As a musical theatre major who loves to direct as well as design, I challenge anyone who says that you can only do one thing!

My Goals as an Artist and Director

Whether I’m working on a show as an artist, director, or designer, my goal is to make the space welcoming, supportive, and accessible to everyone; as a director, I strive to create an inclusive rehearsal room where everyone is as equally important. I like to think of it as machinery in a clock; if there is even one piece missing, then the whole timing is off. Just as a clock only works with all of the pieces, my philosophy is that every single person in a process is equally important, and should feel as such.

My Philosophy as a Makeup and Wig Designer

As an actor, I truly don’t feel like my character until I’ve put on the final touches of my makeup on. Makeup is a very transformative process for me, which is why as a makeup and wig designer my number one priority is for my actors to feel comfortable as their character in their own skin, so they can focus on their performance!
